Expecting Parents
At
Fairfax Pediatric Associates, we know expectant parents have many
questions prior to the birth of their baby. We recommend that you
schedule a prenatal consultation to view our offices, meet our staff and
discuss any questions or concerns that you may have with our
physicians. Our prenatal consultations are offered by appointment
in our office.
Once you have chosen us as your pediatrician you do not need to contact
our office. Simply inform your OB/GYN prior to delivery that you have
selected Fairfax Pediatrics. If you deliver at a hospital that we are
affiliated with, please give the hospital the name of one of our
physicians and they will notify us of your
child’s birth. One of our physicians will come see your baby within 24
hours. If you are delivering in a hospital that we are not
affiliated with, we
encourage you to schedule an appointment in our office within 2-3 days
of discharge from the hospital.
