Jennifer Garlington received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ. After traveling as a pediatric RN for several years, she returned to her alma mater to pursue a Master’s of Science in Nursing and ultimately obtained her Doctorate of Nursing Practice. Certified by the National Pediatric Certification Board for Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, she is also a member of Sigma Theta Tau International and the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP)

I was born and raised in Arizona but have lived much of my adult life all over the U.S., largely due to my husband’s Navy career. With our two children, we came to the NOVA area from a little island in WA state — talk about a change of scenery! Patient and family education are something I am passionate about because knowledge is power. I look forward to growing with all of the families here at FPA.
